Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick Collection - Exclusive

Source: Rimmel Facebook
I have just spotted an email on my Hotmail from Rimmel and as soon as I saw the subject 'Kate Moss New Lipstick - Exclusive First Look!', I just had to open it, with much excitement.

I'm not particularly a fan on Miss Moss herself, but I love Rimmel's products and I have 2 lipsticks from the first Kate Moss lipstick collection, which I love, even though I got 2 very similar shades!
Click here for swatches of those.

This time the lipsticks are matte, which is fab, as matte lips are great and will work really well during the winter months ahead.

Shade 110 caught my eye on the email BUT is already sold out, within a day of the email! So I chose the other shade that jumped out at me in the email, shade 101, a light rose pink shade.
Shade 101 has now sold out too, so I think I got the last one! I almost ‘left it for later’ but I’m glad I didn’t now!

Even better, when I went to pay, it appears that a free Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail Polish was thrown into the basket, shade Rose Libertine - thanks Rimmel!

What's more, there is also FREE DELIVERY.

The lipsticks are priced at £5.49 each and are currently only available exclusively on the Rimmel Facebook shop.
They are limited but will be in stores in about a months time.

Grab them whilst you can!

I know I will be looking out for the other shades in store when they are released.

I love the new sleek red bullet that the lipstick comes in too!

More photos can be found on the Rimmel Facebook page.

Have you purchased any liptstick from the new Kate Moss collection yet, or do you plan to?

Weekend in Outfits #5

Hello lovelies

So this past weekend, I was lucky enough to have 4 whole blissful days off.
Friday I booked off work, I don't work weekends and Monday was Bank Holiday, joy!
I wanted to make the most out of my long weekend and fill it with funtimes :)

I decided to do another Weekend in Outfits post, to share with you all.
There's also NOTD's in here, as you all probably know by now, I love nail polish!
(This is a little pic/diary heavy...)

Friday: Town with Mum and sister
Friday was pretty chilled, headed in to town with mum and Donna. Had a little look round some shops, then got a Costa. Double Chocolate Creamy Cooler, yum.

Saturday: Birmingham and Merry Hill
Saturday I was going to go to London but after much debate with myself, I decided to go to Birmingham, followed by Merry Hill Shopping Centre.
I went alone, as no-one seemed to want to do anything!
Had a great day :)
Did some shop browsing in the Bullring, then discovered The Square shopping centre, near the old Carling/O2 Academy, where my sister and I enjoyed many a gig in the past and lots of front row/all day queueing times! and meeting bands...and JARED LETO.
During my drive to Birmingham, rocking out to Kerrang Radio, they mentioned the Festival of Independents, which is currently on every weekend for a month or so. I decided to go check it out, in The Square. Micro-mini festival set up and a little stage with free live music. I stopped by and enjoyed the break from the rain, sat down and watched a really good band, Of Kings and Captains :)
I also discovered an amazing shop, The Oasis. Full of alternative fashion, vintage, tattoos, everything.
(It also appears to be where all the cute guys are at!)
I then had a nice walk around Digbeth, taking photos and exploring the cool graffiti, before heading to the Custard Factory, my old raving/stomping ground.
Oh, how I miss H.T.I.D Summer Gathering raves at the Custard Factory, raving until 6am, those were some of the best times!
Now, the Custard Factory houses a lot of shops, mostly vintage/retro - very cool.
After Birmingham, I took a drive to Merry Hill and did a little shopping there.

If you are ever in Birmingham, I recommend checking out The Oasis (in The Square) and the Custard Factory (in Digbeth) :)

Lace tunic vest: Primark

Rose gold cross ring: River Island (only £2.50!)
NOTD: GOSH Holographic Hero

Sunday: Road Trip: The Lone Adventurer Does North Wales
Sunday ended up being a totally crazy awesome day and night!
All by myself, again :)
Started off not knowing where to go/what to do.
Jumped in my car, started driving, considered driving to Reading and finding a ticket for the fest BUT figured that would be way too expensive.
Ended up going to Chirk, had a nice walk along the Aqueduct from Wales to England and back to Wales...
Drove to look at Chirk Castle...
Popped to Llangollen, had a little wander and grabbed a goats cheese tart for lunch...
Stopped by Chester for a quick walk round, taking snaps and went up on the clock bridge...
Then, the main event...
I went to check out the new graffiti (street art) on the Duke of Lancaster Funship in Llanerch-y-mor/Mostyn, North Wales. Amazing scenes!
I had one of those over-excited 'I CAN SEE THE SEA!!' moments to myself...
So decided to continue up North Wales coast...
Drove on to the beach in Talacre, mistake. Quickly reversed before getting stuck!...
Then visited Rhyl, where I got a Slush Puppie, had a walk and played on an arcade grabber...
I then decided to be crazy and drive 30 minutes further to Conwy...
Sadly just missed sunset but Conwy looked beautiful all lit up, it is a stunning place...
Had a walk round Conwy and grabbed some seaside chips...
Started to drive back, then went crazy and drove across to Llandudno...
9:45pm, I parked up on Llandudno Prom and had a quick walk, taking in the moment...
I eventually drove 2 hours home, arriving home at Midnight.
That was a great road trip!

MTV crop: River Island
Black tunic vest: H&M
Leggings: Primark
Faux leather jacket: New Look
Boots: Asda
Bag: Paul's Boutique
NOTD: Barry M Magnetic Polish in Neptune Sea

Monday: Lazy Day
I woke up at 2pm, after a mammoth 12 hour sleep.
Went to the retail park, bought The Lucky One, as it had just been released, Helloooo Zac Efron.
I then got a Berry Hibiscus from Starbucks, yum.
and finally, I picked up my friend Burton and we went to visit our friend Jamie :)

Tee: Topshop (hand-me-down from sister due to her new skinniness!)
Maxi: Select
White pumps (not shown): Primark

So, there's my Weekend in Outfits.
I had a really good Bank Holiday weekend, despite spending the majority of it alone!
The likeliness of getting any of my friends to do anything that involves fun and getting out of town is highly unlikely, so I don't let that hold me back, I go ahead with my adventures :)
It's amazing how much fun it can be!
One of the best parts is being able to sing to your hearts content whilst driving, as loud and as bad as you wish!!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, whether you were off or working :)

Hauling - More Shoes and More Nail Polish

So, I went hauling yesterday...

I got 6 nail polishes, not like I don't have millions of polishes but hey, a girl can never have TOO many nail polishes, right?

GOSH £4.99 each (3 for 2), Barry M Magnetics £4.99 (2 for £8), Burgundy Croc Effect £3.99
All Superdrug
Nail Art Set £1, Asda
£12, Primark. How amazing? I know every blogger will have these but I love them, very 'me'.
Love the mini spikes.
So, 6 more nail polishes to add to my mahoosive collection.  I really need to get them all together, tidy and count them!

GOSH Holographic Hero is now available in Superdrug.  There's a 3 for 2 offer on GOSH, so I got 2 HH and Galaxy polish.  I have the original Hologram polish by GOSH but just had to get the new one, though it doesn't look as good on photos that I have seen online.  I will review it when I get round to trying mine.

Whilst I'm on the subject of nail polish, an addicts dream...

Models Own have just Tweeted about their new Mirrorball collection and OMAG...

AMAZEBALLS.

Check these out!

Photo from Models Own Twitter
Taken from Models Own Facebook Page:

NEW! The MIRRORBALL Collection, a completely unique glide-on glitter that will revitalise your entire polish collection! The Mirrorball Collection launches (with LIMITED EDITION metallic coloured caps!) exclusively at the Models Own Bottleshop on Thursday, September 6th, on the Models Own website from Monday, September 10th and in Boots stores nationwide from Wednesday, October 3rd

I NEED THEM ALL.

Any more nail polish addicts out there?
Will you be rushing to buy Mirrorball polishes?

In other news, it's BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!
I booked today off, so I have 4 beautiful days off, yay!
I was debating going to London today but didn't.  I went to town instead.  Then I decided I will drive to Manchester to stay over with my friend at her uni hall tonight but she is unwell, so looks like I'm not going, boo!

Hope you all have a great weekend :)

I have isshoes.

So tonight I had a sudden urge to tidy my room, weird, I know!

I realised that I had 2 basically empty large shelves at the top of my one wardrobe, that could hold my boxed boots and shoes, so I climbed on to my bed (the only way of reaching said shelves!) and dusted the shelves, finding and removing a Playboy shoe box (cringe, flip flops though!), an empty boot box, a giant 18th birthday card from my parents (aww! I feel so much older now!!) and...MY YEAR 11 SCHOOL PHOTO!!!
Horrendous.
I actually hate those 2 photos. Even now, 9/10 years later.
See, the thing is, I had an incident with a razor and my eyebrows when I was around 15...

Anyway, whilst moving boot and shoe boxes, I found some shoes that I completely forgot I owned (shock, horror!), along with some, erm...interesting boots!

Pole shoes (I used to do pole fitness classes and had my own pole in my bedroom!), mirrored shoes and my beloved PPQ shoes :-)
- I can't believe I forgot about my PPQ's!!!

Then I found these questionable boots...
Yeah, I went to a dark place once! I was young and in to hip hop LOL.
J-Lo started this trend, I remember. One pair are called 'Jen' and the other 'Jay'!
Never wore the left pair, wore the brown ones once, maybe twice!
I can't see myself ever wearing either again, I may try selling them...
I bet there's some fashionista out there who would style these out in a great way.

I still have much more sorting and tidying to do, my collection is large.
I counted my shoe collection a few years ago and there were 118, or 125...
and I've got a lot more since then (and not parted ways with any!).
Yes, I am a shoe hoarder.

The photos below were from last year, when I made another attempt at sorting my shoes.
Just some of the collection back in 2011.
My dad makes me laugh...he walked in my room earlier, to see how the tidying was going and said 'oh, space...you can buy more shoes now...oh, wait...these are new, oh look new pumps too *picks them up* unworn too, more bloody shoes!'.
Yes dad, I got isshoes, ok?
He has no idea about the new, unworn shoes hidden under my bed and in boxes.

More to come on my shoe collection soon. I plan to do a post at some point!
One day, I'd love to get every pair of shoes and boots out and do one massive collection photo...but I don't think that would be possible/easy to do.

Anyone else have a shoe obsession/isshoes/shoe hoarding problems???

OOTN: The Multi Maxi

Dress: New Look (a couple of years ago! Completely forgot about it last summer, doh.)
Faux leather waistcoat: H&M
Sandals: New Look (old)
Double-finger cross mood ring: Topshop (IDC if mood rings are 'naff', this looks gorge and I love how the colours keep changing...but does that mean my mood is all over the place?? Haha.)
Wristband: DOWNLOAD!!!
Bag (not shown): my overused Paul's Boutique Maisy (white and gold)

The lipstick is Models Own Hyper-Brite Matt Lipstick 'Pink Hawaiian' (See blog post here)
and the nail polish is Models Own Hedkandi 'Hedonist'

I resurrected this dress last weekend when my friend and I drove out to a nice country pub to watch a local band, Fight the Bear, playing a beer garden gig. Lovely summer's evening, though it did get pretty chilly - silly me wearing a sleeveless jacket!

I'll be doing some more outfit posts very soon, I have quite a few to share, along with some hauls that I have done recently and a review of a 3 in 1 cleanser that I am currently putting to the test :)

In other news, super-excited today...
Found out Stone Sour and Papa Roach are touring together in December, OOHH YEEAAHH!!!

Balearic Cool in Disco Heaven

Nails: Models Own Hedkandi 'Balearic Cool', layered with 'Disco Heaven'

Today has been a dull day and I've spent it in my pyjamas...
I watched The Goonies for the first time, ever.
I then decided to read my entire September issue of Company Magazine, the Ibiza edit.
Oh, how I am desperate to go to Ibiza now :(
My younger sister is going on Saturday.
I haven't been since 1995 and haven't left the UK since 2000.
Sad times.
I don't even own a valid passport.
In the latest issue, Company said they love Models Own Hedkandi Disco Heaven, layered over Balearic Cool - a combination that I hadn't thought to try until now.
I like :)
As ever, the latest Company mag is brilliant, inspirational and a great read.

If you haven't already picked up a copy of the latest Company mag, I recommend you do.
(Just be warned, you WILL be left with an urge to go to Ibiza!)

Hope you had a good weekend!

LUSH: Happy Blooming Luxury Bath Melt

For my birthday last month, my lovely gran got me this Lush Happy Blooming Luxury Bath Melt.

Last night, I finally got round to trying it out (I have a lot of bath and shower products that I am making my way through!).

Wowee, I like!

The melt can be broken in to 3 sections, meaning 3 luxury baths.

I used 1 third last night and was very surprised with how good just 1 piece is!

Very moisturising.

Turned the water a lovely pink.

The scent was amazing and really stayed around.

The scent may not be to everyone's taste but I personally LOVE it!
The smell is a mixture of cherries with a subtle hint of Play Doh.

Just check out the ingredients:
(Taken from Lush website)
Quantitative Ingredients
Calamine Powder, Cocoa Butter, PEG-6 Caprylic / Capric Glycerides, Passionflower Seed Oil, Perfume, Dried Cherries, Freshly Juiced Passion Fruit , Titanium Dioxide, Ylang Ylang Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Colour 14700

Impressive, huh?

And sticking to their usual greatness, this product is:
  • Preservative Free
  • Vegan
  • Full of fresh natural ingredients (and some safe synthetics!)
I would really recommend this product, along with all Lush products.  I don't think I've ever had a product from Lush that I have not been happy with!

I'm not a bath lover, I much prefer showers but this made for a long, enjoyable bath.

Happy Blooming costs £3.95.

More info about Happy Blooming can be found on the Lush website.

Have you tried Happy Blooming?
Are you a fan of bath melts?
