Little Purchases and Girl Power :)

Hello lovelies :)

So cash is very short at the moment and I want SO much, such is life hey?!

Anyway, today I went to Asda on my lunch break and picked up a couple of little things I found, then this evening I went late night shopping, just to browse and for something to do! I got 1 little thing there too but saw loads I wanted :-(

Asda:
Union Jack bow £2.50 - cute!
Nailene Perfect Tips, pack of 96(!) just 99p!

Tesco:
Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil, shade 004 'Black Brown' (it was the last shade there and I was unsure, never used an eyebrow pencil.....)

Excited to use these and do some French tips!

I have no clue if this will be any good and the thought of using a brow pencil is quite daunting!

Up next...

Anyone remember these babies being in fashion???

Well, according to the March issue of Company magazine, Buffalo boots are coming back with a bang!
Buffalo boots retail at between £80-120
They were HUGE in the 90's, made famous by the the Spice Girls
I got this pair of Buffalo STYLE boots when I was 11 and kept them in the back of my fancy dress cupboard (yes, I have one!) for the past 14 years, until now!
They still fit, are extremely heavy and slightly dirty but I can't help but think they are pretty cool...
I actually lived in these back in the day!
I also had a few other pairs of similar Spice Girl style shoes and boots but got rid way back!
So glad I kept these ones, though not sure I will be wearing them out...
Somewhere hip like London maybe...but in my small hometown...may not go down so well, haha!

The Boot and the Buffalo (Company mag, March 2012)

What do you think of these?
Will you be embracing these and bringing back the Girl Power?
and finally...HOW would you style these??

In Other News...
Very happy Zo yesterday :) My package from the lovely ladies at Batiste was waiting for me when I got home from work :)
Such a nice thought, thank you, Batiste!

*No make-up, just got home from work!*

I have been rocking the cherry nails all week (can't believe they stayed good all this time without topcoat!) but now it is time for a change...what to do??
I'm thinking of trying out the Nailene Perfect Tips kit...but what colours do I use??
I shall report back ;-)

Hope you are all having a nice week, it's almost Friday...YAY!!!

Batiste Cherry & Inspired Nails :)

I'm back again :)

So, last week I stalked my local shops for the new Batiste Cherry, to no avail! Then I found some on Saturday at Boots in Telford, happy days :)

Today was what I like to call a 'Batiste Hair Day'...so I grabbed the Cherry and sprayed away.
Goodness, poet and I didn't know it!

My Thoughts:

I love this!
Works brilliant, as all Batiste Dry Shampoos do...
Looks SO cute...
and smells lovely but not TOO overpowering

Batiste is available from Boots, Superdrug and supermarkets (Also Bodycare, but they usually have older versions), priced at £2.99.

There is also a competition on the Batiste website to win a pair of Louboutins!

Have you tried Batiste Cherry?
Do you want to try Batiste Cherry?

NOW...for the exciting bit :)

Whilst at work today, I got inspiration from my cute new Batiste can for some nail art, you may know by now that I love my nail art :)

This has taken me a little while to do (and I haven't even done my other 'difficult' hand yet...tempted to leave it plain Mint Green, haha! Cool yes?)

Enough rambling, here's the end result :)

What I used:

Barry M 304 'Mint Green'
Nail art pens from Rio Professional Nail Art Kit

W.I.P

I also have a towel that matches, haha!

What do you think?
If you try this, I'd love to see. Link me :)

Hope you all had a nice weekend :)

It's Monday, eurgh!
Thank Monday For Skins.

Purchases :)

It's 3:20am, I should be going to bed, but I am a Blogging Addict and need to get my fix!!!

Last night I went to check out my friends new crib, go out for a meal and have a sleepover, so I was unable to blog and really missed it, sad?

Tonight I went to my cousin's 21st party and to a bar/club in town and I have since been sat at home, watching a film called Joy Ride, having a proper perv on Paul Walker, whilst drinking Whisky and Lemonade.

I'm now watching Joy Ride 2, still drinking W&L and thought I'd do some blogging :)

Today my friend and I went shopping in Telford (once we had finished dancing round her kitchen and munching on Skittles!!).

The latest edition of Company Magazine came out today (seems weird saying today now, technically it was yesterday!), so I was really excited to get that.

Whilst looking for Company, I found a copy of the February edition in Boots. I missed this one, so it was great to find it and for just £1!

I then picked up the new April edition in WH Smith :)

Florence on the cover, looking gorgeous!

So looking forward to getting stuck into the mag. I bought the March edition for my train journey to London last month and absolutely loved it. There was a lot about blogging, careers and life that I found so inspirational and some fab fashion bits! I much prefer a magazine like Company, to celeb gossip magazines which feature the same sad celebs and silly stories all the time!

Lots of love for Company Magazine.

Another thing I was on the lookout for (as Shrewsbury is lame and we have a delay in getting anything new in!!), was the new Batiste Cherry.

I FOUND IT! YAY.

I will be doing a review post on this :)

£2.99 from Boots

That's all I got today, as cash is very very short :-(

But here is some things I bought a couple of weeks ago and never got round to posting about!

Facemasks, 99p each of 4 for 3 from Superdrug :)
I tried the Exfoliating one whilst in Newcastle in January and it was SO good, I just had to re-purchase!
Reviews to follow soon :)

Loving the new RI bags :)

I got this baby, as I had eyed it up for a while :)
Just £16!!

You may have seen that I also bought the leopard version of this style skirt not long ago...
I love them both! Great price and really cute :)
(I haven't got round to wearing either yet though...!)

I hope you are all having a great weekend!

If you are on Twitter, let me know and follow me if you like :) I'm new to it and finding it a wee bit dull atm as I don't follow many people or have many followers, haha!
