Jubilee Nails

It's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, as everyone who hasn't been hiding under a rock knows.
So I just HAD to do some celebratory nail art.
I decided to switch the colours up a little and use pink, white and lilac, instead of the traditional Union Jack colours of red, white and blue.
Here's my cutesy Union Jack Jubilee nails :)

What I used:

Nails Inc 'Bluebell', free with InStyle mag, post here.
Rio Professional Nail Art Brushes in metallic pink and white, from Nail Art Kit, available at Argos. I've mentioned this in a few of my previous nail art posts.

I started with Bluebell:
Then the tricky part, trying to keep a steady hand:
and finally the pink:
Add some top coat and tadaaaaa:

and here's last year's Royal Wedding nails, which can also be classed as Jubilee nails:

Hope you are all having a great Jubilee weekend, despite this dull weather! Oh, to be British.

It wouldn't be a British celebration without the great British weather.

I wonder if the Queen is partying hard?!

Nails Inc Bluebell Nail Polish (Free with InStyle magazine)

Bluebell, a beautiful little flower...and now a beautiful little nail polish.

Nails Inc Bluebell polish, free with the latest edition of InStyle magazine (£3.50)

I picked this up the other week after I read about it on Martin's Money Tips email and just had to go to town on my lunch break to check out what polishes were on offer!

There are 3 shades to choose from, the others are Power Pink and Peach Sorbet. All gorgeous colours but I decided to go for Bluebell, as it was the best shade in my eyes.

The shades are exclusive to InStyle magazine.

I absolutely love this polish, it applies nicely, lasts ages with a great finish and is just such a nice colour!
AND IT'S FREE, OF COURSE!

Have you picked up any of the Nails Inc polishes with InStyle magazine?

I've got more nail posts coming soon and today I made myself a little schedule, as I have SO many back-logged posts, so I decided to take action and make myself a schedule of posts to do :)

I'm also currently taking part in Living Streets National Walk to Work Week :) So far I have walked (at least) 21.8 miles and I am loving it!

Anyone else taking part in WtWW?
