Nails: Dalmatian Dots

Hello All :)

I just painted my nails again (it is a daily/nightly thing at the moment!) and wanted to share.

Tonights design:
Dalmatian Dots!

What I Used:

17 Lasting Fix in Mini Skirt
Black Nail Art pen from the Rio Professional Nail Art Kit
17 Nail Xtras Nail Recovery as topcoat

I hope you like :)

I am really enjoying nail art and trying different designs at the moment, so expect more to come!
I have a list of designs that I want to try.

Talking of nails: the Blogosphere is going crazy over Model's Own Hedkandi collection and in particular the Ibiza Mix polish, which I amazingly found in Chester last weekend!!
Click to see my post on Ibiza Mix.
WARNING - you will want to go out and buy it!

NOTD: Pretty Pastels

Today I painted my nails with 17 Lasting Fix 'Sherbet Lemon' (something bright to lighten up a dull day!)

Then, whilst looking through my box of unused products I spotted a sponge that I bought last year for nail art and had not tried yet!
So, I decided to get arty :)

I tore off a little bit of sponge and dabbed on some lilac polish to start with...

Second, I dabbed on some light pink below and slightly over the lilac...

I then finished with 17 Nail Xtras Nail Recovery as a top coat :)

Here's What I used...

I thought my nails went quite nicely with my beloved Tarina Tarantino Good Witch Tote :)

What do you think?

I am loving today's nails and am excited to try different colour polishes with sponges now :)
I went shopping today in Telford, 1. to pass the afternoon and 2. to return a dress to Topshop.
When I went up to the till, the Sales Assistant said 'I love your nails!!', I thought that was nice!

Then I went out with the lads, who didn't get my nails at all...we all know what guys are like, they don't understand, haha! But they did say my nails reminded them of sweeties.

Also, I was so happy to return to my blog when I got home tonight to find that I have had nearly 170 views of my blog today :) :) That means so much to me, it may not be a lot for some bloggers, but the most I have ever had is 90, after my blog was linked on Bourjois and the event photographers Facebook pages.
Not sure where this latest mass of views has come from, or why, but thank you all so much for checking out my blog :)

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend!!

Valentine's: Nails

I love nail art and painting my nails, as my lovely followers have probably gathered by now :)
So, I wanted to do some nice Valentine's inspired nails.
The other night, I suddenly remembered I had some red hearts in a Barry M Glitter Stacking Set that I bought YEARS ago, so tonight I had some fun doing my nails!

Barry M Glitter Stacking Set '13'
- I have had this for at least 3 or 4 years and never used :-o

Pre-hearts.

 Post-hearts <3

Ta daa :)

My Sister decided to have a go too:
Red polish and glitter topcoat used.

Mine and Donna's nails :)

To create my heart nails I used:

17 Nail Xtras Nail Recovery (as base coat)
17 Lasting Fix 'Mini Skirt'
Barry M Glitter Stacking Set '13': Bottom pot, red hearts

I dropped the hearts on to the nails immediately after the second coat of Mini Skirt.
I counted 49 hearts in total on my nails (I think!), plus Donna used a bunch and the pot doesn't even look like any have gone, there must actually be a few hundred hearts in there!

This would also be good for Queen of Hearts fancy dress!
Hope you like :)

Amaretto Nails

17 nail polishes are some of my favourite, ever.
They are fast drying, great finish, cheap and last ages!!
17 do a wide range of polishes in various types, colours, effects etc :) They are available from Boots.

I am also a big fan of 17 makeup, I just love 17...

So, tonight, whilst browsing my nail polish collection I was drawn to this beauty, which I forgot all about!

When I bought this nail polish last Summer I wasn't too keen but now I have rediscovered it I LOVE IT!!
and it makes me want an Amaretto and Diet Coke haha :) Yum.

Polka Dot Nails :)

Good Evening Ladies :)

First post of 2 again tonight.

Earlier I decided to paint my nails, after a day of bare nails. I fancied something a bit different, so decided on Polka Dots :)

Products used:
17 'Woo Me'
Rio Professional Nail Art Pen (from Nail Design set)
Sally Hansen 'No More Breaks' as top coat
and the Diesel Loverdose is just there to look pretty, as I picked it up at Boots today and covered it in the stuff <3

Any other nail art fans out there??

Nails ~ Eyes ~ Outfit

Here be the post that was to follow my last, but due to the mentioned laptop issues, then being out all day and night yesterday I was unable to do until now.

An All-in-One post covering my nails, eye make-up & outfit from Saturday's shopping trip :)

The Nails:

Finally got round to using the blue Barry M Nail Effects crackle nail varnish, I wasn't sure what colours it would really work with!

A bit shabby as I was rushing and only put 1 coat of the Sherbet Lemon on.

Used as top coat, it can also be used as base coat, or alone :)

The Eyes:

Got a bit creative with the eyes :)
Vanilla & Curfew eye shadows from Primark 'Sant or Sinner' palette (which I got for £1 in Jan sales! 10 great colours!)
No.7 gel eyeliner 'Blue' (from Limited Edition Spring Collection)
Accessorize Collagen Mascara 'Black'

The Outfit:

Vest, Pull & Bear
Denim skirt, Next (old!)
Leggings, George @ Asda
Bag, Paul's Boutique
Peacock feather print bangle, Claire's Accessories

A closer look at the Pull & Bear vest (just because it is cool!). I got this months ago in Liverpool and kinda never got round to wearing 'til now!

And before heading off shopping...I was awoken (from falling asleep on the sofa in the previous nights clothes and make-up!) at 7am, to banging on the front door...I wondered what it was, then realised that something very special that I ordered just the day before was waiting for me at my front door...

That's right, V Festival baby <3

V-Fest post to follow :)

Hope you all had a great weekend. Did anyone else go to V?
