NOTD: Pastels & Polka Dots

Happy Tuesday!!

I just got home from watching 21 Jump Street at the cinema.
I highly recommend, it was brilliant.
So hilarious that I had tears of laughter!
and Channing Tatum is in it...need you more reason to watch it???

So, last night I decided to paint my nails and do a little design...
I decided on pastels and polka dots :)

What I used:

Rio nail art pen from the Rio Professional Nail Art Pen Kit.
(My friend Kelly bought this set yesterday after I recommended it! I would recommend it to anyone who loves nail art!)
and 17 Nail Xtras Nail Recovery as topcoat.

What do you think?

There will be a lot more nail art to come soon, I have a bit of a list going on of designs I want to try :)
...I also have a load of other posts still to do!

Hope you are all having a nice week!

Children in Need Nails :)

So, tomorrow is Children in Need :)

So I decided to do some Children in Need nails :)

I have done a little donating, by purchasing the Children in Need wristband from Boots, which I mentioned in an older blog post. They are CUTE as anything, available in 4 different colours and just £1 each!
There are also lots of other Children in Need products around, in various shops and online.
You can also donate directly to Children in Need :)

Now, onto my DIY Children in Need nails...

Products used:

17 Lasting Finish 'Mini Skirt'
Barry M '306 Blueberry Icecream'
Barry M '290 Spring Green'
Red & Yellow from Rio Professional Nail Art Kit

I did the dots just by dabbing with the nail polish brushes, except the 2 Rio (Red and Yellow), which have a dotter tip :) I actually found using the normal brushes easier to get tidy, varied size ROUND dots. Only problem was when the Spring Green poured all over my thumb :-o

Here's a few photos of the W.I.P:

I hope you are all having a good week!
Remember to watch Children in Need if you are staying in tomorrow night :) I know I will be!
