Sunday Hauling

Evening All :)

Today I spent my afternoon shopping in Telford.

I didn't plan on buying anything but it seems when I go with my friend Aimee, I always come home with things!

Here's what I picked up today:
Skirt £12, Peplum top £8, Studded shoes £12, Tinkerbell Mitt £1, Slipper socks £1 - Primark.
Rise Against 'Endgame' and Young Guns 'Bones', 2 for £10 - HMV.

Yes, the skirt is a metallic gunmetal grey version of last years huge sell out black version of the faux leather pleated skirt, that every blogger and their nan most certainly seemed to own!
- I can see this being big news!
The top, I've wanted a peplum for so long and this shiny black/wet look one caught my eye. I love the 6 studs on it, adding to the rock chick edge.
The shoes, well, I've wanted nude shoes forever and these are studded - WIN. I don't really wear pointed or stiletto heeled shoes anymore but I love these.
The mitt and slipper socks, random buys.
The CD's, I have searched for Rise Against 'Endgame' so long! Just 2 more RA albums to get now (the very first 2!), I didn't know what CD to get for the 2 for £10, then spotted Young Guns 'Bones', so grabbed that as I've got into them recently and Gustav Wood is a babe.

Lots of nice new things, yay!

Here's some other fab findings of the day:

Before heading to Telford, I saw an email pop up in my Hotmail inbox from Lush Telford, about a VIP party for the launch of new haircare products, very exciting! Sadly, I missed the Emotional Brilliance launch party. So, I called Lush Telford, then headed in whilst in Telford and grabbed tickets for me and my sister :)
I'll be taking my camera phone along and getting some snaps to share with you all.
Very excited for next Friday evening!

Have you been hauling recently?

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I have had a great one, down to last night's lone gigging, Kids in Glass Houses.
Currently on a KIGH from that :)
Oh, such a cringer.

Hauling - More Shoes and More Nail Polish

So, I went hauling yesterday...

I got 6 nail polishes, not like I don't have millions of polishes but hey, a girl can never have TOO many nail polishes, right?

GOSH £4.99 each (3 for 2), Barry M Magnetics £4.99 (2 for £8), Burgundy Croc Effect £3.99
All Superdrug
Nail Art Set £1, Asda
£12, Primark. How amazing? I know every blogger will have these but I love them, very 'me'.
Love the mini spikes.
So, 6 more nail polishes to add to my mahoosive collection.  I really need to get them all together, tidy and count them!

GOSH Holographic Hero is now available in Superdrug.  There's a 3 for 2 offer on GOSH, so I got 2 HH and Galaxy polish.  I have the original Hologram polish by GOSH but just had to get the new one, though it doesn't look as good on photos that I have seen online.  I will review it when I get round to trying mine.

Whilst I'm on the subject of nail polish, an addicts dream...

Models Own have just Tweeted about their new Mirrorball collection and OMAG...

AMAZEBALLS.

Check these out!

The Mirrorball Collection launches (with LIMITED EDITION metallic coloured caps!) exclusively at the Models Own Bottleshop on Thursday, September 6th, on the Models Own website from Monday, September 10th and in Boots stores nationwide from Wednesday, October 3rd

I NEED THEM ALL.

Any more nail polish addicts out there?
Will you be rushing to buy Mirrorball polishes?

In other news, it's BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!
I booked today off, so I have 4 beautiful days off, yay!
I was debating going to London today but didn't.  I went to town instead.  Then I decided I will drive to Manchester to stay over with my friend at her uni hall tonight but she is unwell, so looks like I'm not going, boo!

Hope you all have a great weekend :)

I have isshoes.

So tonight I had a sudden urge to tidy my room, weird, I know!

I realised that I had 2 basically empty large shelves at the top of my one wardrobe, that could hold my boxed boots and shoes, so I climbed on to my bed (the only way of reaching said shelves!) and dusted the shelves, finding and removing a Playboy shoe box (cringe, flip flops though!), an empty boot box, a giant 18th birthday card from my parents (aww! I feel so much older now!!) and...MY YEAR 11 SCHOOL PHOTO!!!
Horrendous.
I actually hate those 2 photos. Even now, 9/10 years later.
See, the thing is, I had an incident with a razor and my eyebrows when I was around 15...

Anyway, whilst moving boot and shoe boxes, I found some shoes that I completely forgot I owned (shock, horror!), along with some, erm...interesting boots!

Pole shoes (I used to do pole fitness classes and had my own pole in my bedroom!), mirrored shoes and my beloved PPQ shoes :-)
- I can't believe I forgot about my PPQ's!!!

Then I found these questionable boots...
Yeah, I went to a dark place once! I was young and in to hip hop LOL.
J-Lo started this trend, I remember. One pair are called 'Jen' and the other 'Jay'!
Never wore the left pair, wore the brown ones once, maybe twice!
I can't see myself ever wearing either again, I may try selling them...
I bet there's some fashionista out there who would style these out in a great way.

I still have much more sorting and tidying to do, my collection is large.
I counted my shoe collection a few years ago and there were 118, or 125...
and I've got a lot more since then (and not parted ways with any!).
Yes, I am a shoe hoarder.

The photos below were from last year, when I made another attempt at sorting my shoes.
Just some of the collection back in 2011.
My dad makes me laugh...he walked in my room earlier, to see how the tidying was going and said 'oh, space...you can buy more shoes now...oh, wait...these are new, oh look new pumps too *picks them up* unworn too, more bloody shoes!'.
Yes dad, I got isshoes, ok?
He has no idea about the new, unworn shoes hidden under my bed and in boxes.

More to come on my shoe collection soon. I plan to do a post at some point!
One day, I'd love to get every pair of shoes and boots out and do one massive collection photo...but I don't think that would be possible/easy to do.

Anyone else have a shoe obsession/isshoes/shoe hoarding problems???

Shooooes...AMAZING SHOOOOES!!

Hey girlies :)

I have something to share with you all tonight...
(Photos from The Crystal Boutique website, link below)
OMG!!
Amazing much?!

I discovered The Crystal Boutique after reading Iclelivzi's blog post from back in September, when she won a pair (lucky!) and after looking on The Crystal Boutique's website I now NEED a pair of their shoes in my life! All girls should have a pair of these! There are too many to choose from, however, I was immediately drawn to this stunning pair:
Love at first sight!
Look at the detail on the heels:
(Photo: Facebook)

Amy Childs has been photographed wearing a pair of these babies out whilst shopping for beds! I saw the photos of them and they look soooooo nice on! WANT WANT WANT!
The Crystal Boutique have SO many gorgeous pairs of shoes, and some other bits and bobs, including jewellery and mobile phone covers. Check out their website http://www.thecrystalboutique.co.uk/.

WARNING: YOU WILL HAVE THE URGE TO BUY A PAIR!!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend :)

I went to a bonfire/firework display, then came home and watched The X Factor.
Did anyone else watch? What did you think?
I couldn't decide who I wanted to replace Frankie the douche bag, but James Micheal was cute!
However, Amelia Lily's perfomance was amazing and I LOVE her hair!!! I want mine like that!

Sunday Special, OOTD & a Little Shopping

Hey girls :)

Just a little post about my Sunday.

Dad gave me £20 to go buy the Britney 'Midnight Fantasy' perfume from Boots, along with 'whatever make-up you want with the rest!'. The Britney perfume was £12.99, so I had £7.01 remaining. What to buy?? I walked round Boots, wondering what to get that was under £7, wouldn't go off by Christmas and that I could wait that long for...I chose Models Own lipstick in 'Plum', £6. I've wanted this forever and my sister recently bought it! I just noticed this is £1 cheaper on Models Own website.
So, that was £18.99, I gave dad the change and I got to collect the Advantage Points, YAY! But, forgot to use my Double Points voucher - DOH!
(Photo: Models Own website)

I also bought (with my own pennies) Batiste's new 'Wild' dry shampoo :) Yes, spending a few more pounds that I should not be spending :-\ £2.99. The bottle is so cute and this smells lovely.

We then went to Starbucks, as they had 2 for 1 on their Christmas 'Red Cup' drinks.
Donna and I both got Toffee Nut Lattes, which cost just under £1.50 each for small :) We both hate coffee, but all the drinks were coffee! This was nice though :)

We then headed to Shawbury to visit our friend Rich. Whilst waiting for Rich to come out for a drink, we went for a drive to Moreton Corbet, castle and mansion ruins (where we spent many evenings ghost hunting in the past!).  Had a little walk around the grounds and took a few photos :)

(Scroll down if you don't want to see these, OOTD follows)

Posing on the wall of the mansion, haha! Looking uncomfortable, as there was a drop behind me and I worried I would fall off!

Sometimes I just can't resist the Lying Down Game :)
The photos aren't amazing quality, as I don't actually have my own digital camera at the moment, I just use one of my phones!

OOTD

All Primark (boots from last year/year before!)
Bag: Barratts (years ago!)

NOTD
No7 Midnight Enchantment 'Glitter Bomb' £2 using £5 No7 voucher, Boots

~

On to tonight, I just watched Big Brother and Alex was given a pair of Jimmy Choo's for her Birthday!  I've never looked at Jimmy Choo's properly, but they were AMAZING! So, I just had a look on the Jimmy Choo website, WOW...PRETTY SHOES!!
How beautiful are these?! They are £1,295 though!
(Photo: Jimmy Choo website)

While some are in the thousands, others, like Alex's are less than £500, which got me thinking ONE DAY...when all my debts are paid off, I could save for a pair...then I thought NO...I would actually be too scared to ever wear them out of my bedroom, haha!
Wouldn't it be lovely though?!
I think my most expensive shoes (other than my PPQ Office ones, which would have been £110, had I not got them for £50 on sale!) are my topshop T-Bar shoes, which mum & dad paid about £70 for, as a Birthday present years ago!
(old photo from Feb 2009)

(I couldn't find any decent photos of the shoes!)

Do you have any designer shoes?

Hope you all had a nice evening :)
