Soap & Glory: Rich & Foamous Reviewed

In my last post I revealed my weekend Soap & Glory haul to you all, including the brand spanking new product, Rich & Foamous.

Now, I review :)

Firstly, OMG - AMAZING!

I could leave it at that, REALLY, but I will give you more...

What Soap & Glory say:
Almond and honey milks, oat extract, and our soft and frothy M-SUDS™ MoistureBoost system leave skin clean, supple and irresistibly scented. The next best thing to waking up to the smell of fresh baking is taking a shower with RICH & FOAMOUS™ Body Wash. Super creamy, ultra sudsy, conditioning on dry skin, it's everything you ever wanted in a wash.

What I say:
This is seriously good stuff!
The scent in so good, different from previous Soap & Glory scents and very edible smelling. I saw a couple of comments before going out to purchase this where people slated Rich & Foamous and comments that the scent was too much but I really like it. I don't find it overwhelming and think that it is the perfect level of smelliness! Don't let the bad reviews put you off, at least go have a sniff in store, you'll probably like it.
It lathers loads. So you don't even need to use much, meaning it will last a long time.
Leaves skin feeling oh so soft and scented.
The usual fab packaging that you would expect from Soap & Glory, with all their quirky glory :)
The bottle has a pump, which I find great to get control and just the right/desired amount of product.

This is a dual-use shower and bath body wash.

Rich & Foamous is said to be the perfect accompaniment to Breakfast Scrub, so I also purchased that as part of the 3 for 2 offer at Boots.

This morning's shower consisted of a scrub down with Breakfast Scrub (oh how good it is!), then lathering up with Rich & Foamous. I was intrigued to try my new Scrub Actually too, and as I didn't have a face wash to hand, I decided to use just a little Scrub Actually on my face...it did good, my face felt fresh and soft! Considering it isn't for the face. I washed my hair with my current fave shampoo and conditioner, which you can read about here.
When I got home from work, I gave my tootsies a freshen up with some Scrub Actually too.

If you haven't tried Soap & Glory (are you crazy?!), you must!

Definitely one of my fave brands, along with Lush, of course :)
Who doesn't love smelling all sweet and fresh?!

Rich & Foamous is £6.50 (500ml) from Boots and is included on the 3 for 2 offer.

After first trying Rich & Foamous yesterday, it was driving me mad that I recognised the scent and couldn't quite pinpoint what it smelt like, I figured it was a perfume, but which? After a while of sitting there, smelling and wondering, I got it...
Viva La Juicy! One of my favourite <3
The scent it similar, I think anyway. If anyone else agrees, please let me know :)

Have you tried Rich & Foamous?
Will you be going out to buy?

Soap & Glory Haul and a Summery Sunday Summary

On Friday night, whilst heading to Cardingmill Valley, I stopped by Boots at the retail park. I had seen on Soap & Glory's Facebook page after work, that a new product has been released, Rich and Foamous...

I HAD TO HAVE IT!

There was 1 bottle left, hidden behind some other products!

As there was a 3 for 2 offer on, I just couldn't resist. Bye bye Download Festival spending money...

So, I picked up Rich & Foamous, Scrub Actually and Breakfast Scrub, none of which I have tried yet. Apparently Rich & Foamous is a good accompaniment to Breakfast Scrub. Technically, Rich & Foamous was free with Boots 3 for 2 offer! Total for all 3 products £16.50.

I'm looking forward to trying these and will report back my review :)

I also got a free gift bag, so cute! I picked one up that just had a text design, then my sister spotted this super-cute design, so I swapped all my goodies to this bag!

and the No7 £5 vouchers are now back, incase anyone is a No7 fan :)

Excuse flash.

As I was heading to pay, trying to avoid spotting anything else, I set my eyes on another Soap & Glory product that I hadn't actually seen before, Peaches and Clean. I decided to leave it and save my money...

Fast forward to the next day...

Yesterday, my sister and I went to Telford to do some shopping, mainly for Download essentials and to go to see the Lush Compounders on Tour and make our own bath bomb, more about this soon! I'll do a combined post about that and today's Lush Clipper Facemask Workshop :) I've had 2 days of making Lush goodies, which we got to keep, free! Yay :) Thanks Lush!
So, I ended up purchasing Peaches and Clean! I was going to do the 3 for 2 again but couldn't decide which other 2 products to get and I needed to save my money.

If you follow me on Twitter (@ameliasallsorts), you may have read that I was very very unwell yesterday, I wasn't sure any of this weekend's plans would happen but I survived, hoorah. Never want to eat fish again, I can only assume it was Friday night's fish! I've completely lost my appetite though, I'm just craving fruit and ice lollies...

Today, my sister and I went to Manchester to the mentioned Lush Clipper Facemask Workshop and for a little shop. I got a few things, more Download money a-bye-bye... Not doing very well here. Haul post soon...

As I keep mentioning Download and will more than likely mention it a lot more over the next week and 3 days, I should warn... excitement levels are very high and continue to rise! One week Wednesday, Download Festival, OH YEAH!

That's all for now, rambled on way too much in this post.

I'm currently chilling, enjoying the cooler weather, with Gaymers Pear Cider with Raspberry (YUM) and Kings of Leon playing on the stereo <3 Bliss.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

Today's Little Purchases (and I was doing so well...)

On my lunch break today I went for a walk up in to town, I had a look in Boots, saw so much I wanted but resisted and left with just my Meal Deal in hand.
I was proud of my will power to resist spending in the continuing effort to help my shopping addiction, avoiding some exciting new products which I spotted...

Then tonight, I went to Boots at the retail park and bought one of these things! (and a few little 'essentials'!)

Here's what I got:

Travel-size products:
Soap & Glory Hand Maid 50ml £2.50
Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo 50ml £1.49
Nivea Pearl & Beauty Deodorant 35ml £1.01 (free on 3for2)

The hand sanitiser and deodorant are to take to London on Wednesday (more about that soon!) and the Batiste Blush dry shampoo just because I am a Batiste addict and did not have a mini bottle!
It was 3 for 2, so Batiste was the obvious 3rd product to get the deal!
This got me thinking, Batiste...minis in the other variants...not sure if these exist but if not, please?
I love Batiste, if you follow me on Twitter you may notice that I regularly tweet about my Batiste Hair Days and reasons for :) #batistehairday Share your story!

and now for the exciting new product...

Model's Own Hyper-Brite Matt Lipstick!!

I chose shade XL03 Pink Hawaiian £6.

I will follow this post with a review in a few moments, you all need to know about these!

So, after resisting spending in Boots today, I went on to spend this evening but it totalled £9.99, and I had £10 in my purse, so that makes it better, yes?

Stay tuned for my review of Model's Own Hyper-Brite Matt Lipstick :)

Product RAVE: Soap & Glory Hand Food and Batiste 'Wild'

Hey girlies :)

Tonight's post is a bit of a product rave!

So, last night I finally got round to trying out my Soap & Glory Hand Food, which I recently purchased during Boots Advantage Card event and OMG...
THIS STUFF IS A-MAZING!!
I used a tiny bit before bed and this morning woke up to my hands feeling ridiculously soft!
Hand Food was chucked straight in my handbag and accompanied me to work today :)
I used it a few times (though it didn't need re-applying!).
My hands feel SO SO soft and smell lovely, of Soap & Glory's signature 'Mist You Madly' scent :) Mmm...
Seriously girls, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! Perfect for the cold Winter months and keeping those hands nice and moisturised.
It is also non-greasy!
Can Soap & Glory do any wrong??
The mini size (50ml) which I have is £2.35 (5 for 4 offer currently on mini's at Boots), whilst the larger one (125ml) is £4.85. Available at Boots and on ASOS.com.
I plan to buy the large size when I get paid (Soap & Glory Haul planned!) :) and keep the small one in my handbags, perfect size!

Secondly, Batiste 'Wild'. This is new and I previously mentioned that I bought this on Sunday.
Well, today I kinda woke up late and didn't have time to wash my hair, so...
BATISTE TO THE RESCUE!!
Dry shampoo is a bit tricky with my hair now being purple, as it can appear talcy and make my hair look bad, but this didn't.
I had previously said that the smell was lovely, well...I must add, after using properly today...it smells AMAZING!! My hair stayed fresh and smelt great all day :)
Batiste is also great for adding volume and giving hair a matte look.
I got my Batiste 'Wild' from Boots, for £2.99.

Have you tried either of these products?
Do you plan to try them now?

Soap & Glory Goodies :)

Good evening all :)

What a lush day it was today, loving this Summer weather...not loving being stuck in the office though :(

At lunch time I drove up to Boots at the retail park. I went in need of make-up wipes, which I got, but also had a little browse around (the Christmas gifts are AMAZING!! Lots of Wish List items!). Whilst on my way to the Christmas gift section, I decided to look at the Soap and Glory make-up bags, which I have wanted for MONTHS now...well, I was shocked and over-excited to see the label saying 'Clearance £3.50' on The 'All' Set, which was the main one I wanted, and was previously £14!!! I could not believe my eyes. £3.50 for 3 GORGEOUS Soap and Glory make-up bags?!? The others were also on offer, but there was only 1 other type left, the less exciting of the lot.

I got the 3 set though :) and here they are, along with the Clear Here cleansing cloths...

Clear Here cleansing cloths: £4.50, Boots.

The 'All' Set: £3.50 (yes, THREE POUNDS AND FIFTY PENCE!!) from £14! Lotta love for Boots :)

The gorgeous interior lining, which is so pretty that I don't want to put any make-up in now, incase it leaks...!

The lining reads 'At Soap and Glory, we believe you shouldn't have to spend an arm and a leg to moisturize one.'...CUTE!

So impressed with my find :) Mum wants a set now! They are still £14 online, but check your local Boots store for clearance ;-)

I have just used one of the cleansing cloths, and my face is now all tingly, as says the label. I love Soap and Glory! Oh, and let's not start on the Christmas gifts...I could write all night! Amaze.

Are you a fan of S and G? What is your favourite product?
