FREE Benefit Product With £2 Glamour Magazine

The July edition of Glamour Magazine came out today, with Benefit FREEBIES.

Yes yes, free Benefit!

Glamour run a Benefit freebie every year and this year is yet another great offer.

On offer are miniature sizes of The Porefessional, That Gal and Bad Gal mascara.

The magazine costs just £2.

Cover Girls: Fearne Cotton (looking stunning!), Eva Longoria and Kylie Minogue.

I got The Porefessional (7.5ml), as I have been wanting to try this for SO long, so was very happy to hear this was on offer! and how cute the mini box is!

I heard about this on Martin's Money Tips email when I got in to work this morning, so at lunch I was straight to Asda to grab a copy!

If you plan to get this, be very quick! These will fly out the shops like hot cakes!

I couldn't wait to try The Porefessional and as I decided to go last minute late-night shopping after work, I put it to use :) From just one use, I can tell you that I WILL most definitely be going out to purchase a full size The Porefessional! I love it.

Here's a FOTN with Benefit's The Porefessional as a primer under my makeup:

(Please excuse wet hair, I was in such a rush! My makeup was rushed too! After a 15 mile drive we only had 45 minutes before the shopping centre closed, so I had to go with wet hair! We only had time for Primark and I got 4 items, one of which is VERY exciting and I will post tomorrow, yay!)

and here is what my FOTN was made of:

Yes, I am wearing Topshop's Lip Stick in Powder Room!
- I was asked about this by a few girlies on a recent post, so now you can see what it looks like.
I love the shade but find it very drying/horrible feeling on and I personally would not recommend this.
I apply a lip balm before applying but even then it is still dry.
I do regret buying it, to be honest, at £7 it was a lot for something that I am not happy with. I will use it, as I refuse to waste. Maybe mixing some in a pot with Vaseline to make a tinted balm would be better??
^Quick review there, for those who requested^

Have you picked up Glamour Magazine?
Will you be going to buy this, if so, which will you be looking for?

Soap & Glory: Rich & Foamous Reviewed

In my last post I revealed my weekend Soap & Glory haul to you all, including the brand spanking new product, Rich & Foamous.

Now, I review :)

Firstly, OMG - AMAZING!

I could leave it at that, REALLY, but I will give you more...

What Soap & Glory say:
Almond and honey milks, oat extract, and our soft and frothy M-SUDS™ MoistureBoost system leave skin clean, supple and irresistibly scented. The next best thing to waking up to the smell of fresh baking is taking a shower with RICH & FOAMOUS™ Body Wash. Super creamy, ultra sudsy, conditioning on dry skin, it's everything you ever wanted in a wash.

What I say:
This is seriously good stuff!
The scent in so good, different from previous Soap & Glory scents and very edible smelling. I saw a couple of comments before going out to purchase this where people slated Rich & Foamous and comments that the scent was too much but I really like it. I don't find it overwhelming and think that it is the perfect level of smelliness! Don't let the bad reviews put you off, at least go have a sniff in store, you'll probably like it.
It lathers loads. So you don't even need to use much, meaning it will last a long time.
Leaves skin feeling oh so soft and scented.
The usual fab packaging that you would expect from Soap & Glory, with all their quirky glory :)
The bottle has a pump, which I find great to get control and just the right/desired amount of product.

This is a dual-use shower and bath body wash.

Rich & Foamous is said to be the perfect accompaniment to Breakfast Scrub, so I also purchased that as part of the 3 for 2 offer at Boots.

This morning's shower consisted of a scrub down with Breakfast Scrub (oh how good it is!), then lathering up with Rich & Foamous. I was intrigued to try my new Scrub Actually too, and as I didn't have a face wash to hand, I decided to use just a little Scrub Actually on my face...it did good, my face felt fresh and soft! Considering it isn't for the face. I washed my hair with my current fave shampoo and conditioner, which you can read about here.
When I got home from work, I gave my tootsies a freshen up with some Scrub Actually too.

If you haven't tried Soap & Glory (are you crazy?!), you must!

Definitely one of my fave brands, along with Lush, of course :)
Who doesn't love smelling all sweet and fresh?!

Rich & Foamous is £6.50 (500ml) from Boots and is included on the 3 for 2 offer.

After first trying Rich & Foamous yesterday, it was driving me mad that I recognised the scent and couldn't quite pinpoint what it smelt like, I figured it was a perfume, but which? After a while of sitting there, smelling and wondering, I got it...
Viva La Juicy! One of my favourite <3
The scent it similar, I think anyway. If anyone else agrees, please let me know :)

Have you tried Rich & Foamous?
Will you be going out to buy?

Soap & Glory Haul and a Summery Sunday Summary

On Friday night, whilst heading to Cardingmill Valley, I stopped by Boots at the retail park. I had seen on Soap & Glory's Facebook page after work, that a new product has been released, Rich and Foamous...

I HAD TO HAVE IT!

There was 1 bottle left, hidden behind some other products!

As there was a 3 for 2 offer on, I just couldn't resist. Bye bye Download Festival spending money...

So, I picked up Rich & Foamous, Scrub Actually and Breakfast Scrub, none of which I have tried yet. Apparently Rich & Foamous is a good accompaniment to Breakfast Scrub. Technically, Rich & Foamous was free with Boots 3 for 2 offer! Total for all 3 products £16.50.

I'm looking forward to trying these and will report back my review :)

I also got a free gift bag, so cute! I picked one up that just had a text design, then my sister spotted this super-cute design, so I swapped all my goodies to this bag!

and the No7 £5 vouchers are now back, incase anyone is a No7 fan :)

Excuse flash.

As I was heading to pay, trying to avoid spotting anything else, I set my eyes on another Soap & Glory product that I hadn't actually seen before, Peaches and Clean. I decided to leave it and save my money...

Fast forward to the next day...

Yesterday, my sister and I went to Telford to do some shopping, mainly for Download essentials and to go to see the Lush Compounders on Tour and make our own bath bomb, more about this soon! I'll do a combined post about that and today's Lush Clipper Facemask Workshop :) I've had 2 days of making Lush goodies, which we got to keep, free! Yay :) Thanks Lush!
So, I ended up purchasing Peaches and Clean! I was going to do the 3 for 2 again but couldn't decide which other 2 products to get and I needed to save my money.

If you follow me on Twitter (@ameliasallsorts), you may have read that I was very very unwell yesterday, I wasn't sure any of this weekend's plans would happen but I survived, hoorah. Never want to eat fish again, I can only assume it was Friday night's fish! I've completely lost my appetite though, I'm just craving fruit and ice lollies...

Today, my sister and I went to Manchester to the mentioned Lush Clipper Facemask Workshop and for a little shop. I got a few things, more Download money a-bye-bye... Not doing very well here. Haul post soon...

As I keep mentioning Download and will more than likely mention it a lot more over the next week and 3 days, I should warn... excitement levels are very high and continue to rise! One week Wednesday, Download Festival, OH YEAH!

That's all for now, rambled on way too much in this post.

I'm currently chilling, enjoying the cooler weather, with Gaymers Pear Cider with Raspberry (YUM) and Kings of Leon playing on the stereo <3 Bliss.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!
