Primark Angelica Nail Colour 'Holiday Fun'

Hello All :)

In my last post, I mentioned the Angelica nail polishes, which I bought in Primark during my Birmingham hauling.

Last night I finally got round to trying one of them, Holiday Fun.

I was a bit worried after discovering that it appeared to have dried up slightly when I took it out of the bag, however, all is OK! Phew.

Angelica nail polishes are new to Primark. With so many to choose from, I was spoilt for choice but as I was in the moving queue I just grabbed this and Magnetic for now.
I will report back on Magnetic when I have tried it :)
This cost just £2.50, beautiful bargain!

With flash.

Bumps shown.

My Thoughts:
Gorgeous colour.
2 coats.
Quick drying but a little gloopy/sticky when applying (with some random bumps, seen on photos).
Great price.

and is it just me, or does this look a little like Illamasqua 'Stance'?

and then tonight, THIS happened...

Nice.

Have you tried Angelica nail polish?

xXx

    1. Oh no :( Hopefully they will get them in soon! I haven't been to my nearest Primark in a month or so, not sure if they have them or if it's just the larger stores! Hope you find some :)

    2. Hopefully because I really want to try them. There's a couple near me and the one I usually go to isn't very big so I'll have to try another :) x

    1. Haha, that's like with me - too much choice, too little time! It's a bit silly having them by the queue really, whilst they probably think they'll sell more, it is just really inconvienient to actually look at them and choose without just grabbing and going! You should definitely get some next time ;)

    1. Haha, it looks a bit odd now, especially as the others are all so long at the moment!
I know :) There are so many nice colours available, hopefully I'll get chance to look at them for longer next time and get some more!

  5. Hi Zoe Amelia,

Thanks for your post about our nail varnish!

I'm sure you and your fellow bloggers will be pleased to know we'll be in up to 20 more Primark stores in the next few months, and new colours are constantly going into the stores.

Here's a tip for you, the bubbles in the nail polish are caused by oils on your nails, this could be from anything as simple as hand wash!
It's always best to really prepare your nails before painting them, it'll make your polish last longer too. We recommend using an Acetone nail varnish and a base coat, then applying two coats of Angelica, finished with a clear Top coat.
Following these instructions should ensure you'll have perfect nails for days & week's at a time!

    1. No problem. Thank you for reading and commenting.
That is great news! I bought 3 more Angelica polishes whilst in Liverpool on Saturday :) So many colours available!
Thank you for the advice. I will try your suggestions. Though I did find that a recent Primark nail polish 4 pack that I bought does the same, but only 1 of the colours seems to go bubbly. I painted my nails a mix of all 4 colours and only the nails that were neon green had bubbles.
