Sunday Special, OOTD & a Little Shopping

Hey girls :)

Just a little post about my Sunday.

Dad gave me £20 to go buy the Britney 'Midnight Fantasy' perfume from Boots, along with 'whatever make-up you want with the rest!'. The Britney perfume was £12.99, so I had £7.01 remaining. What to buy?? I walked round Boots, wondering what to get that was under £7, wouldn't go off by Christmas and that I could wait that long for...I chose Models Own lipstick in 'Plum', £6. I've wanted this forever and my sister recently bought it! I just noticed this is £1 cheaper on Models Own website.
So, that was £18.99, I gave dad the change and I got to collect the Advantage Points, YAY! But, forgot to use my Double Points voucher - DOH!
(Photo: Models Own website)

I also bought (with my own pennies) Batiste's new 'Wild' dry shampoo :) Yes, spending a few more pounds that I should not be spending :-\ £2.99. The bottle is so cute and this smells lovely.

We then went to Starbucks, as they had 2 for 1 on their Christmas 'Red Cup' drinks.
Donna and I both got Toffee Nut Lattes, which cost just under £1.50 each for small :) We both hate coffee, but all the drinks were coffee! This was nice though :)

We then headed to Shawbury to visit our friend Rich. Whilst waiting for Rich to come out for a drink, we went for a drive to Moreton Corbet, castle and mansion ruins (where we spent many evenings ghost hunting in the past!).  Had a little walk around the grounds and took a few photos :)

(Scroll down if you don't want to see these, OOTD follows)

Posing on the wall of the mansion, haha! Looking uncomfortable, as there was a drop behind me and I worried I would fall off!

Sometimes I just can't resist the Lying Down Game :)
The photos aren't amazing quality, as I don't actually have my own digital camera at the moment, I just use one of my phones!

On to tonight, I just watched Big Brother and Alex was given a pair of Jimmy Choo's for her Birthday!  I've never looked at Jimmy Choo's properly, but they were AMAZING! So, I just had a look on the Jimmy Choo website, WOW...PRETTY SHOES!!
How beautiful are these?! They are £1,295 though!
(Photo: Jimmy Choo website)

While some are in the thousands, others, like Alex's are less than £500, which got me thinking ONE DAY...when all my debts are paid off, I could save for a pair...then I thought NO...I would actually be too scared to ever wear them out of my bedroom, haha!
Wouldn't it be lovely though?!
I think my most expensive shoes (other than my PPQ Office ones, which would have been £110, had I not got them for £50 on sale!) are my topshop T-Bar shoes, which mum & dad paid about £70 for, as a Birthday present years ago!
(old photo from Feb 2009)

(I couldn't find any decent photos of the shoes!)

Do you have any designer shoes?

Hope you all had a nice evening :)

A Lost Opportunity :(

Hey girlies :)

OMG...I could cry right now!

A week or so ago I spotted the purple Ablaze Wedge Boots on ASOS, after originally seeing the Tapestry ones ages ago. I completely fell in love with them, then forgot until tonight.
So, I went on ASOS about 1 hour ago and saw that they had just size 5's left, and low stock.
Size 5...my size! It was fate...
I don't have £60 in my bank, so I was debating going online and increasing my overdraft (ONCE AGAIN!) BUT, I left it too long!
I just added the boots to my basket, to see if it then said they were sold out, and was gutted when ASOS told me they could not be added as they had now SOLD OUT!!
My internet banking is also currently not working either, so it seems I was destined to never own these amazing boots :(
(Photo: ASOS)

*CRIES*

If anyone ever notices these back in stock (I doubt they ever will be!), PLEASE let me know :)

I had a post planned for today/tonight, but will do that tomorrow, as it is 11:50pm, I have work at 9am and I still need to get all the junk off my bed (I had to sleep on the sofa last night!).

Hope you all had a great weekend :)

A £5 Shopping Trip and Exciting Products

Hey girlies :)

Today I was kindly woken up at 9am by my sister (thanks Donna!). We went shopping in Telford. I only had £5 to spend, which I had in a pot at home.
I got 2 little things today:

Boots:
As soon as I walked into Boots I spotted the new Midnight Enchantment collection by No7, cute packaging/look and lovely products. I only got the nail polish, as Donna had a No7 £5 voucher with her, meaning it cost me just £2 :)
Check out the collection here.
No7 Midnight Enchantment 'Glitter Bomb' Nail Polish
£2 using £5 voucher (£7 full price)

I only swatched it on my ring finger, as I had painted my nails just a few hours earlier.
(Nail varnish is H and M Hello Kitty, as mentioned in a previous post ;-) )

Superdrug:
I have been in need of some moisturiser for my face, so was pleased to find this little gem in Superdrug :)
Vitamin E Intense Moisturise Cream
£2.99, Superdrug

(Apologies for the dull lighting! I had to turn flash off to photograph the Moisturiser as it kept beaming off the pot!)

After Telford, I then spent around 6 hours trying/continuing to sort out my bedroom! FUN!

During a break from the mammoth task, I checked my emails, to find an email from Barry M about their new 'Croc Effect' Crackle Paint.
The photo looks pretty cool, though I can't get my head around how it would come out any different to the original Crackle Paints!
I've just watched the video on the Barry M website and it does appear different to the original Crackle Paints.
Priced at £3.99 and available here.
(Photo: Barry M website)

What do you think of the new Croc Effect?? Will you be buying?

Next up, Britney Spears perfumes...
30ml perfumes currently on offer in Boots, £12.99 from £22 (£13 on website, for some reason 1p more than in store!)

I saw the Brtiney perfumes on sale at Boots whilst going in for lunch on Friday.  I love Radiance, my sister has this and it smells so good, but I hadn't tried any of the older ones, until Friday!
I tried Midnight Fantasy, and OMG, AMAZING!!
(Photo: Boots website)

I COVERED myself in the stuff and when I was at the till the girl asked 'What perfume are you wearing?' *CRINGE*...'it's the Britney 'Midnight Fantasy', I just sprayed some' (more like used the whole bottle, haha!), she said it smelt really nice! The smell lasted ALL DAY AND NIGHT! I was sat in my NVQ exams smelling it, even later in the evening, sat watching TV I kept smelling it, great lasting power!

I don't usually go for celeb perfumes, but this is definitely on my Christmas Wish List :)

What is your favourite Britney perfume?

Oh, and I passed both my NVQ Key Skills exams - yay! Thank God! One more stress out of the way :)

Hope you are all having a great weekend :)

The Halloween Post *Pic Heavy*

Hey girlies :)

So, my final post on Halloween...as promised!

I went out on Monday night (Halloween) to C:21 nightclub, for Miss Roxy's Halloween Extravaganza (gay night!).  Lloyd Daniels was there performing, and Marlon(?) from X Factor was also there watching.  I don't really remember what Lloyd Daniels was like on X Factor, I only remember the voice man saying 'LLOYD DANIELS!' in the over dramatic voice (you know what I mean!), haha.

I went with my 2 'Fellow Jeggers', Aimee and Sally and boy, we had a good laugh!
Despite having work at 9am the next day, I managed to stay til close at 3:30am, eventually got home some time after 4:15am! I managed to get just 2 hours sleep before work, but felt fine!
However, I would like to add, never try Kamikaze shots!! I don't know what is in them, but they are WRONG!! Thanks Sal!

Anyway, on to the photos, apologies for the pic heavy post!

Queen of Broken Hearts

Queen of Broken Hearts and Aimee 'Corpse Bride'

Queen of Broken Hearts & Sally 'Chucky' (haha!)

Bumped into my old friend Craig in C:21 so decided to have a Piggy Back ride, for old time sake :) We used to always do these when we hung out back last year, oh, those were the days!
In case you are wondering, it all started on Valentines Day 2010, when we were at the seaside and saw a kid laughing, having a Piggy Back ride, to which I said 'Oh, I miss Piggy Back rides!!'...and Craig told me to get on his back! The rest is history! Haha. He's a lot stronger than he looks!

End of night shot

Aimee kindly gave us Trick or Treat goody bags, yay!

Accessories :)

Stockings and shoes :)

My good old Leg Avenue Queen of Hearts costume :)

A closer look at my make-up (and another towel turban shot, haha!)
Basically, I planned the eyebrows and had the idea of the lips, but had no idea what else, so this was all a bit last minute.
The black on my cheeks started with fallout from the Barry M Dazzle Dust on my eyelids, I tried to wipe it off and it created the bruised look, so I dabbed bits of the DD over my face, smudging as I went along.
The black brows and mole were done using Barry M Waterproof eyeliner pencil.
Some old concealer on my lips, with a bit of Collection 2000 red lippie in the centre.
I also sprayed my face with hairspray to reduce the risk of melting brows/make-up!
This look is pretty simple really and took about 10 minutes!

That was Halloween, and as an added extra, below are some photos from the night before Halloween.

After coming home from a day in town I decided to try out a witchy look.

Products used to create my 10-Minute Witch look (plus my usual foundation, powder and mascara)

Nails:
Barry M Spring Green with Purple Rain Nail Effects

The only topcoat I have is a glitter one, I thought this looked pretty :)
Difficult to photograph though!

Found these Mr Kipling Demon Cakes for £1 in Sainsburys...
Raspberry flavoured, YUM!!

In the evening I went for a non-alcoholic beverage at Source Vodka Bar with 2 of my lad mates and one of their female friends.
I decided, as it was the night before Halloween, to do a Halloween/witchy-inspired look :)
Again using the products mentioned higher up this post (but without the scariness and brows!)

I also tried to dress appropriate to the look :)
The top is about 10 years old, from Pilot (remember that shop??)
Maxi skirt: Select. One of my most worn items of clothing! Love it!
Bag: Primark

and that is the end :)
I hope you like and that this post wasn't too annoying, being so pic heavy!

Hope you all had a great Halloween and are having a nice week!
Mine has been a bit up and down really, but hey ho! One week tonight I shall be going to see Lee Evans with my mum, dad and sister for Dad and Donna's birthdays, YAY! I'm sure Lee Evans will cheer me up a treat :)

Halloween Nails: Eyeko Vampira

Hey girlies

So my Halloween outfit post will be uploaded tomorrow, as I haven't had chance to sort through the photos yet.

But for now I decided to share with you all, my Halloween nails.
I used Eyeko 'Vampira' Polish, which I bought MONTHS ago, before Eyeko's revamp and it has been in my 'Box of Unused Products' since, along with a few more Eyeko products!

Unfortunately (as always) I was running late to go out last night and in a rush I only had time to do one coat of polish, which didn't come out too great.

However, when I returned home at 4:30am, I decided to paint another coat on to see how it looks and get some photos to share with you all. Yes, I was painting my nails at 4:30am, I had work at 9am and did not get to bed until about 5:30/6am!! You could say I was pretty shattered at work today.
Much better with 2 coats!

Unfortunately, with their revamp, Eyeko have stopped selling their nail polishes :(

I hope you all had a fab Halloween :)

Queen of Broken Hearts post to follow tomorrow.
