Boudoir Prive November Box

Hello girlies :)

So, I have been M.I.A for a while it seems, I will post very soon (been a busy lady!), but just thought I'd do a quick post on the November Boudoir Prive box.

Firstly, I have been waiting impatiently for this box, and it is about a week behind schedule (which was a bit annoying, as they has previously emailed about new delivery charges-only for new subscribers though, but that these would provide a better delivery service...then the box came late and we are told the better service will start with the next box!).

Anyway, about 10 minutes ago I heard the doorbell and *cringe* had to go answer in my star-covered dressing gown :) I was all excited when the postie handed me my Boudoir Prive box, then ran up to my room to open.

Well, this is my second box, after being please with last months, I decided to stay with BP for another month BUT, I have to say, on first opening and inspection, I am not overly excited :(

There are 7 products (2 lots of 2 of which are the same) and none of it really appeals to me.

There is a full size StudioMakeUp lipstick, worth £12.25, which seems nice, but is red and I barely wear red and have a few. I shall give it a whirl though...
Nothing else is that fantastic IMO.

What's in the box?
- StudioMakeUp Rich Hydration Lipstick 'Truly Red'
- Dead Sea Spa Magik Silky Smooth Body Lotion (50ml)
- Rahua Voluminous Shampoo and Conditioner (2x 8ml sachets of each)
- Korres Wild Rose 24-hour Moisturiser (10ml)
- Vinies Ayurveda's Soul Luminous Skin Mask (2x 15gm pots)

and there we have it!

Here's some photos:

The Vinies Skin Mask disturbed me, it looks rather wrong and smells just as bad, I don't know if I can actually bring myself to try it... and there are 2 pots, why??

I immediately decided I will cancel my subscription, but Boudoir Prive December Christmas box is out in just 3 weeks (if on time!) and promises a big announcement and exciting things, so I may give them 1 more chance...

Did you get this months Boudoir Prive box?
What do you think of the offerings?

I'm now going to quickly catch-up on the lovely comments I have received since I last came on Blogger, and reply to all, as I always like to reply to comments :) I'm nice like that, haha!

Hope you are all having a nice weekend!
I'm off to Birmingham shortly with my parents, for a browse round the shops and Frankfurt Christmas Market :) I should really be getting ready, but thought I'd quickly give my blog some attention and let you all know about the Boudoir Prive box, before it gets put off and I don't get round to it (like most things!).

H&M Minnie and Mickey

Today has been a tad hectic!!
I woke up wanting to go for a drive somewhere, using the last 55 miles petrol that was in my car. I had considered Ironbridge, then heard they had the Christmas lights switch on, so I was sorted :)
Getting in my car, I then had one of those 'what am I doing, where am I actually going??' moments when I needed to get cash out (the last of my cash, which was for my phone bill, but as it has been messed up again they can wait!). So everywhere was chaos and I ended up going to a retail park here to get cash and see what lunch stuff Boots had left (not much!), I then decided to go to Telford on route to Ironbridge.
My plan was to get a Subway (which I did, yum!!) and have a quick browse in a couple of shops, first off H&M and WELL....
I immediately rang my friend Aimee and asked 'HAVE YOU BEEN TO H&M RECENTLY?!?', whilst stood in awe at the new Minnie & Micky Mouse range of products! Knowing that Aimee is as obsessed as me with cute things and that we both went mad over the recent Bambi range, I just had to tell her!
I stood there well over 10 minutes, describing every product to Aimee, haha.
I knew I shouldn't spend money and didn't NEED any of the products but they were so cute!
Anyway, Aimee liked my descriptions and asked if I could get her a few bits, then collect money later, so I did.
I bought 4 products for Aimee, which I took photos of to share with you all :)
Do you know, I kinda liked the whole experience...buying nice things for someone else, then getting the money back for them. It meant I got the joy of shopping and buying nice things, but without spending a penny (as I got it back!). I must do this more often, haha!

Right, enough blabbering...on to the products:

£2.99

£2.99

£1.99

£3.99

Cute lining, with 3 pockets :)

Also in the range are nail varnishes, small sets of lotions, nail care kit, shower gels and lots more.  There are 2 colours available; pink/black/white and red/black/white and the smelly products come in Vanilla or Red Berries :)

All products are the usual crazy cheap prices, ranging from £1.99 to just £3.99 (I think the toiletry bag is the most expensive product).

Will you be visiting H&M for any of this collection??
Sucker for cute things??

Hope you are all having a good weekend!

Children in Need Nails :)

So, tomorrow is Children in Need :)

So I decided to do some Children in Need nails :)

I have done a little donating, by purchasing the Children in Need wristband from Boots, which I mentioned in an older blog post. They are CUTE as anything, available in 4 different colours and just £1 each!
There are also lots of other Children in Need products around, in various shops and online.
You can also donate directly to Children in Need :)

Now, onto my DIY Children in Need nails...

Products used:

17 Lasting Finish 'Mini Skirt'
Barry M '306 Blueberry Icecream'
Barry M '290 Spring Green'
Red & Yellow from Rio Professional Nail Art Kit

I did the dots just by dabbing with the nail polish brushes, except the 2 Rio (Red and Yellow), which have a dotter tip :) I actually found using the normal brushes easier to get tidy, varied size ROUND dots. Only problem was when the Spring Green poured all over my thumb :-o

Here's a few photos of the W.I.P:

I hope you are all having a good week!
Remember to watch Children in Need if you are staying in tomorrow night :) I know I will be!

Shooooes...AMAZING SHOOOOES!!

Hey girlies :)

I have something to share with you all tonight...
(Photos from The Crystal Boutique website, link below)
OMG!!
Amazing much?!

I discovered The Crystal Boutique after reading Iclelivzi's blog post from back in September, when she won a pair (lucky!) and after looking on The Crystal Boutique's website I now NEED a pair of their shoes in my life! All girls should have a pair of these! There are too many to choose from, however, I was immediately drawn to this stunning pair:
Love at first sight!
Look at the detail on the heels:
(Photo: Facebook)

Amy Childs has been photographed wearing a pair of these babies out whilst shopping for beds! I saw the photos of them and they look soooooo nice on! WANT WANT WANT!
The Crystal Boutique have SO many gorgeous pairs of shoes, and some other bits and bobs, including jewellery and mobile phone covers. Check out their website http://www.thecrystalboutique.co.uk/.

WARNING: YOU WILL HAVE THE URGE TO BUY A PAIR!!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend :)

I went to a bonfire/firework display, then came home and watched The X Factor.
Did anyone else watch? What did you think?
I couldn't decide who I wanted to replace Frankie the douche bag, but James Micheal was cute!
However, Amelia Lily's perfomance was amazing and I LOVE her hair!!! I want mine like that!

General Update :)

Hello all :)

I haven't blogged since Tuesday and it seems like I have been away from Bloggerland forever!  I know, it's only been a couple of days...but it just seems longer!

I've had a busy couple of days; working and doing my NVQ work in the day, then last night we went to see Lee Evans at Manchester M.E.N. Arena.
OMG, we all know Lee Evans is funny...but you don't realise HOW funny until you see him live!  We were laughing every few seconds, for the whole 2 hours!  That man is too funny!  I went with my parents and sister, as it was a present for Donna and Dad's birthdays.  We'd always wanted to see Lee Evans but his shows always sell out, as we thought this tour had, BUT after much searching I eventually found us 4 tickets!  The arena was PACKED!

It was a great show, first time seeing a comedian, very different from all the gigs we are used to going to!  I got a headache just before Lee came on, which was annoying, as every time I laughed it was painful to do so!  Donna and I also went wearing NON-waterproof mascara (DOH!) but luckily, despite crying with laughter, there were no smudged eyes, haha :)

Ohh, we also walked through Selfridges in Manchester and past the Alexander Wang Rocco duffle bags that are popular at the moment, they are so nice!  The £730 price tag isn't so nice though :-/
(Photo: Selfridges website)

and look at the lovely Louis Vuitton window display!!
I LOVE SELFRIDGES!!

Today is Dad's actual birthday.  We planned to go out for a meal, but Dad was tired after work, so we just ordered a Chinese in.
Happy Birthday Dad! :)

I have a lot to catch up on and post about, which I will hopefully get time to do shortly!

Also, I am also almost certain on my blog name change...just need to make a final decision on whether to do it!  Blue Eyed Blonde just doesn't seem right, as I am not blonde anymore (though I always will be on the inside and naturally!).  I miss my blonde hair :-(

Hope you are all having a great week!  It's almost the weekend again, woohoo!

Product RAVE: Soap & Glory Hand Food and Batiste 'Wild'

Hey girlies :)

Tonight's post is a bit of a product rave!

So, last night I finally got round to trying out my Soap & Glory Hand Food, which I recently purchased during Boots Advantage Card event and OMG...
THIS STUFF IS A-MAZING!!
I used a tiny bit before bed and this morning woke up to my hands feeling ridiculously soft!
Hand Food was chucked straight in my handbag and accompanied me to work today :)
I used it a few times (though it didn't need re-applying!).
My hands feel SO SO soft and smell lovely, of Soap & Glory's signature 'Mist You Madly' scent :) Mmm...
Seriously girls, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! Perfect for the cold Winter months and keeping those hands nice and moisturised.
It is also non-greasy!
Can Soap & Glory do any wrong??
The mini size (50ml) which I have is £2.35 (5 for 4 offer currently on mini's at Boots), whilst the larger one (125ml) is £4.85. Available at Boots and on ASOS.com.
I plan to buy the large size when I get paid (Soap & Glory Haul planned!) :) and keep the small one in my handbags, perfect size!

Secondly, Batiste 'Wild'. This is new and I previously mentioned that I bought this on Sunday.
Well, today I kinda woke up late and didn't have time to wash my hair, so...
BATISTE TO THE RESCUE!!
Dry shampoo is a bit tricky with my hair now being purple, as it can appear talcy and make my hair look bad, but this didn't.
I had previously said that the smell was lovely, well...I must add, after using properly today...it smells AMAZING!! My hair stayed fresh and smelt great all day :)
Batiste is also great for adding volume and giving hair a matte look.
I got my Batiste 'Wild' from Boots, for £2.99.

Have you tried either of these products?
Do you plan to try them now?
