O.P.I Nicki Minaj 'Save Me'

I LOVE glitter nail polishes, so when I found Nicki Minaj's O.P.I polish collection whilst away in Newcastle this weekend, I just had to break my 'no shopping' rule!

I quite wanted the mini set but wasn't sure I'd ever use the green 'Did It On 'Em' polish and the blue 'Fly' was similar to a polish I already have. The pink 'Pink Friday' is cute, but I have LOTS of pink polishes and the black/silver glitter and hex 'Metallic 4 Life' is really nice!

There's also a purple/magenta glittery crackle polish 'Super Bass Shatter', which looks nice too :)

I could have easily bought all of them, but after much debate, I chose to just get 'Save Me', even though it is similar to my Barry M 'Once Upon a Time'...

(Used over Jack Wills Electric Pink)

(The mini set on the left had an odd polish in the box!)

The polish is full silver glitter and holographic strips :) Pretty!

I used just 1 coat, over 2 coats of Jack Wills 'Electric Pink'.

For a cheaper alternative, check out Barry M's 'Once Upon a Time' :) It is one of my all time favourite polishes!

I'm back...with a very little haul :)

I'm home from my long weekend in Newcastle, very tired but just wanted to do a quick little post before I make my way to the Land of Nod...

My sister and I have officially BOOKED OUR TICKETS!! (Thanks to my dad for borrowing me the money so we could get them before the price increase!)

Weekend + 5 day camping tickets, car park and locker, sorted!

Just need to save, plan and get a couple of our friends to hurry up and book tickets now :)

I am soooooo soooooo excited to have the tickets booked!

I've been excited for the past 2 lots of announcements and am also excited for next week as another 11+ bands/artists are going to be announced!

I'm hoping for Motley Crue, Papa Roach, The Used and Stone Sour...to name just a few :)

Nikki Sixx

On the subject of all things rock...

AMAZING!

I have always had a little obsession for Nikki Sixx but recently more than ever, yes.

He is now 53 years old and his son has just turned 21 today...yes, Nikki is 29 years older than me but still...

He was a hellraiser in the past and did things that I do not agree with (drugs!) but ignore all that and look at the man, the talent and the story.

I got his autobiography, The Heroin Diaries for Christmas. I haven't started reading yet but am excited to read it :)

A male friend asked me and my sister what our 'type' of guy would be, to which I answered 'long black hair, tattoos, in a rock band...oh, and preferably Welsh'...he was a bit stunned lol!

(Nikki Sixx isn't Welsh, but I just love the Welsh accent and Welsh men, one of my fave bands, KIGH are Welsh :) )

I'm off...

to Newcastle for a long weekend, yay!

Leaving tomorrow, straight from work at 5pm, staying til Sunday.

So, I shall be away from Blogger for the whole weekend :-o

I am really looking forward to this weekend :)

Suitcase empty (and probably will be until early hours, as I always end up packing early hours in the morning!)

Amaretto Nails

17 nail polishes are some of my favourite, ever.

They are fast drying, great finish, cheap and last ages!!

17 do a wide range of polishes in various types, colours, effects etc :) They are available from Boots.

I am also a big fan of 17 makeup, I just love 17...

So, tonight, whilst browsing my nail polish collection I was drawn to this beauty, which I forgot all about!

When I bought this nail polish last Summer I wasn't too keen but now I have rediscovered it I LOVE IT!!

and it makes me want an Amaretto and Diet Coke haha :) Yum.

I don't really follow trends much, I kinda go with what I know but I was loving graphic tees last year, so I would say that! Teamed with my faux leather jacket, which is one of my most worn items :)

I don't really like either...

I think kittens and puppies are cute though!

Umm...Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough I love, but rarely buy due to the price tag!

Cupcakes from Queenie's Cupcakery in Ironbridge, when I visit there! Because they are THE best, EVER.

But atm I am loving my after dinner fruit mixed in with Weight Watchers fruit yoghurts :)

I'm Not Spending Any Money Today: Mini Haul!

Wellll, another day with need for a plan...another day ending up with shopping!

I returned to Telford, planning to 'not buy anything', other than some foundation, as mine ran out a couple of weeks back and *hangs head in shame* I couldn't afford any until now, so I was having to make do with my 2 leftovers: Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect, which is good but not for my oil prone face, and a 17 Skin Perfecting foundation (which is what I use in a different shade) that I bought in the VERY WRONG shade ages ago...it makes my face a lovely orangey colour...LOL!

I was happy to find that 17 Skin Perfecting was £2 off, at just £3.69...then sad to find there were none left in my shade, Natural :-(

So, I went for 17's BB Blemish Balm in shade Light. I thought it'd be nice to try this and it was pretty cheap!! I shall do a review on this when I have tried it, I'm hoping for good things :)
