London: The Day Out & OOTD *Pic Heavy*

*Pic Heavy*

So, if you read my post on Friday night you will know I made a spontaneous decision to book a train to London for Saturday :)

Well, I survived my lone trip to the big city and thoroughly enjoyed it, loved the independence of going alone and the challenge of navigating my way around the city.

I did not enjoy the horrendous rain.

I am going to break this up in to a few posts, as I don't want to do one huge pic heavy post.

So, my first post is this, a few photos of my day...

Up next...Bourjois Boutique and Purchases

and ending with...The Haul

I hope you enjoy :)

The most bargainous train journey to London.

Been travelling an hour and just about getting light.

Welcome to London, first things first, on the tube I go.

Rabbit Rabbit.

Shop, amazing.

Even the carrier bag, amazing.

Looks like something out of Willa Wonka or a Katy Perry video :)

Wow.

Nice welcome into Oxford Street.

Beautiful new Benefit umbrella...broke after less than 2 minutes use on Oxford St.
Not happy.

Selfridges window display
LFW 2012

I so wanted to get a photo of the staff, as they were all dressed like this (but I didn't want to get caught!)

Mecca!

Great convo :)

Changing trains and stations in Birmingham, 45 mins to pass...well, it would have been rude not to...

In Birmingham Bullring

I did bad.

Thoroughly enjoying this month's Company magazine :)

The point at which you get caught up in a song you love and almost belt it out loud on a busy train.

Faux leather jacket: New Look
Dress: a catalogue surplus type shop!
300 Denier black tights: Asda

Boots: Asda

If you actually looked through all these and got this far, thank you and I hope you liked my photos :)

    1. I did, thank you :)
Me too, well it's a love hate thing with me though! Certain parts of going to London I love, but other parts, such as being packed like sardines-in-can on the tube, I do not like! and that it took over 3 and a half hours each way there and back!
There's always so much to see and do in London :) I only had time for a couple of shops by the time I got to Oxford Street, so Topshop and Selfridges it was :)

    1. Thank you lovely :) It was good fun! Doing London alone was scary at first but very exciting. I coped pretty well, despite the weather being against me and the tube engineering works causing me some trouble haha!
The way I do it is to turn the fear into excitement ;)
